A scandal involving the Windrush Generation immigrants has recently erupted in the UK. The taste has remained to this day, because the statuses of these people have not been explained or even more fixed for them! Who are the "Windrush Generation" people, what problems they have in Britain and why "Trini Solutions" mentions about it?
"Windrush Generation" - the name comes from 'Empire Windrush', a ship that brought the first immigrants from the Caribbean to Great Britain in 1948. Anyone who came to Great Britain from a Commonwealth country before 1973 had the right to permanent residence, unless they left the UK for more than two years. Recent changes in immigration law require that people have to provide documentation confirming uninterrupted stay in the UK. However, many people from the Windrush generation do not have such documents, never applied for British citizenship or passports, and now they are fighting to prove that they were here legally.
In order to get British support and restore rights - immigrants from the "Windrush" were ordered to send to the Home Office as many documents as possible to prove their long-term stay in Great Britain. This information may include school, college and work records, birth and marriage certificates, bills and other letters.
No one expected such a turn of events, and most Windrush victims were rejected without the possibility of returning to England because they could not prove that they had been in the UK for all these years. This is a terrible oversight of the British authorities, because at the time they did not ensure that these people acknowledge their rights. The English authorities used their naivety and lack of knowledge of the rights by promising a permanent stay and a work permit! While they were accepting people from the Empire Windrush ship - from the very beginning - they did not say that immigrants should create and keep an archive of all documents in order to obtain a permanent residence permit in the future. By changing the law, they did not inform those people that the changes also concern them. On the other hand, they deliberately deported the oldest citizens of the Windrush generation and refused to return to those who were on vacation, explaining that they did not have rights and permits.
"Trini Solutions" is trying to show the Caribbean society how they can come to England, live under British law and not be taken by surprise. It also advises - to all those interested in - how to start a new life abroad and thus secure the future. The truth is that most of you will compare our business to scam activities and start preparing this journey on your own, making a lot of mistakes. There is also a group of people who will criticize our actions claiming that these are mere formalities and do not need any support, which will result in a failure. However, there are people who listen to our advice and use our services; they are patiently climbing the summit and are approaching the dream goal with little steps, without stress or future problems. That's why it's worth sometimes listening to someone who gives us tips about living in exile, especially if this person lives and works in the country to which you intend to emigrate.
